Dassault Aviation is a French aerospace company specializing in military aircraft and business jets. Founded in 1929 by Marcel Bloch, it was later renamed after Bloch changed his surname to Dassault. The company is a major player in European defense, known for producing the Rafale multirole fighter, the Mirage series, and the Falcon family of business jets. Dassault Aviation is also involved in space systems and unmanned combat aerial vehicles, such as the nEUROn drone. Headquartered in Paris, France and operates as part of the Dassault Group.
