Junkers was a German aircraft manufacturer founded in 1895 by Hugo Junkers. It became famous for pioneering all-metal aircraft, including the Junkers J 1, the world's first all-metal monoplane, and the Junkers F 13, the first all-metal passenger aircraft. During World War II, Junkers produced military planes like the Ju 87 Stuka and Ju 88 bomber. The company was merged into Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB) in 1969, marking the end of its independent operations. Today, Junkers Aircraft continues to manufacture historical ultralight aircraft, reviving classic designs like the Junkers A50 Junior.
