M.M.T.L diecast refers to the diecast toy vehicles distributed by Moose Mountain Toymakers, a company based in Parsippany, New Jersey. These diecasts were designed primarily as children's play toys, rather than collectibles, and were known for their robust construction. In 1998, Moose Mountain began distributing plastic buckets filled with diecasts and accessories under the "Action Wheels" brand, which were sold at major retailers like Kay Bee Toys, Target, Toys 'R' Us, and Walmart. While their commercial vehicles were not based on real-life models, their cars were. Some of their known castings include a 1957 Chevy Bel Air. The bottom of some castings features an M.M.T.L marking, and the buckets carry a 1998 copyright date alongside the M.M.T.L lettering.
